Lt. Col. S. Rajagopal served in the Indian Army for 25 years in various roles. Commissioned from NDA into Infantry, the frontline fighting force, he has successfully carried out many operations against terrorists. In recognition of which the Government of India has bestowed four gallantry awards to him and the Indian Army has renamed some of the border areas in J&K as GOPAL Sub-Sector.
He has served in the most elite security force of the country – the National Security Guards (Black Cat Commandos) and has the experience of providing security to various important establishments of national importance and to VVVIPS such as the President and the Prime Minister of India. He has the experience of deploying different surveillance and security systems and is qualified in firefighting and security management for organizations of all sizes.
Since his retirement from the army, he has grown the Commando Group into a large well-established organization with a presence in various cities across India and long-term relationships with some of the most prestigious organizations in various sectors including, corporate, banking, government, medical and education.
He has an MBA degree in addition to his bachelor’s in arts and master’s in computer systems.

Mrs. Mallika helped establish the Commando Group and been integral to the growth of the organization. She manages various aspects of the Commando Group including Corporate Strategy and Finance. She has graduated from ISB, holds a Master of Arts degree and a Post-graduate diploma in computer applications.
